Sales & Customer Representative

West Kentucky and Tennessee Telecommunications Cooperative (WK&T) seeks a motivated Sales and Customer Relations Representative for its new office in Martin, Tennessee.

The successful candidate will be a proven professional capable of growing the company’s core products and enhancing WK&T’s image. A willingness to organize local events and attend activities sponsored by groups such as civic organizations is required. The successful Sales and Customer Relations Representative will be an active member of the Martin and Weakly County communities.

WK&T’s recent expansion into Martin allows the cooperative to offer fiber optic broadband internet, voice, business solutions and security systems to the community.

Applicants should have a minimum five years of professional experience in building new customer relationships, exceeding sales quotas, customer service skills, excellent communications ability and solid organizational skills. A bachelor’s degree in business, communications or marketing is preferred. Technical skills are a plus!

This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package and commission structure that awards high performance with uncapped earning potential.

Provide customer service by talking with customers about issues they may have with their telephone, internet or video services. Troubleshooting customers’ problems over the phone and at the customer premise. Log all customer calls and dispatch outside troubleshooters when necessary. Will perform entry of internet and video customer information to allow authentication and programming. Installs small home networks including wireless technology at customer premise. Assist installers with component installation.

Essential Job Functions:
– Provide customer service by understanding telephone, internet and video services offered to successfully help with any customer issues.
– Performs a wide variety of trouble shooting tests including telephone, internet and video issues.
– Installs small home networks including wireless technology at customer premise. Assist installers with component installation.
– Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Interacts in a professional, courteous manner with customers, prospective customers, visitors and vendors. Works positively and cooperatively with co-workers.
– Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.
